Later, as Sales Director, he spearheaded initiatives that significantly improved company profitability and operational efficiency.
Academically, Amadou holds a PharmD from Cheikh Anta Diop University (Dakar, Senegal) and a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from the University of Houston-Downtown (USA). His early career as a pharmacist and sales representative at Pfizer West Africa gave him first-hand experience in patient care, pharmaceutical distribution, and medical consultation—skills that continue to inform his approach to global health challenges.
Originally from Senegal, Amadou is passionate about making a lasting impact in Francophone Africa and other developing regions. His expertise in pharmaceutical logistics and deep understanding of supply chain dynamics align perfectly with ITI’s mission to eliminate trachoma and improve healthcare accessibility worldwide.
