As an Assistant Public Health Advisor, Abigail assists the program team in providing disease intervention services in program countries, specifically in Francophone West Africa, by researching resources, coordinating communications, and tracking country submissions of trachoma reporting data. In addition to supporting programs, she helps in the planning process of international meetings discussing the program's success and progress eliminating trachoma by organizing logistics, creating meeting materials, and providing French translation, where necessary.
Abigail holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgia State University in French Studies with a minor in Anthropology and a Master of Public Health from Emory University in Global Health with a certificate in French. She has experience working with non-profit organizations based internationally and locally, and is a French instructor with the Alliance Francaise. In her free time, Abigail enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and spending time outside.
