As an Associate Public Health Advisor for the International Trachoma Initiative, Neha provides program support and technical assistance to countries implementing the SAFE strategy to prevent and eliminate trachoma.
Before joining ITI, Neha was a strategic information fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Mozambique where she focused on the management and use of a patient-level database to assess retention of patients on HIV treatment and viral load testing. Additionally, in support of the HIV response, she also provided technical assistance for the mapping and size estimation of key populations and developed data collection tools and visualizations for program evaluations. Neha also served as a Maternal and Child Health Training Facilitator with the Peace Corps in Guatemala, where she designed and facilitated a cascade training program for health educators that focused on adult education methodologies, nutrition, and WASH, and taught sexual education to youth and traditional midwives. Her previous work experience also includes impact measurement and data management at CARE USA, quality improvement of postpartum care delivery and reporting in the Dominican Republic, and monitoring and evaluation for Mozambique's Global Fund proposal.
Neha holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Anthropology, and a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Emory University.
