Tekalign Mamo has been a driver logistician for ITI’s Regional Office for Africa since 2014. His role is to transport the office director to and from work as well as to run other errands, as needed. He serves as a personal assistant to the regional director in facilitating his travel needs within and outside of Ethiopia, providing a similar liaison service to other Task Force for Global Health/ITI colleagues and partners, as appropriate.
Before joining ITI, Tekalign was a driver logistician for The Carter Center, where he performed custom-clearing activities, served as a liaison officer, and assisted program officers on field activities. He also worked with the logistics officer to compile and distribute medical supplies for trachoma and malaria programs.
